My STLP22 State Championship Experience

In Spring of 2022, I had the opportunity to take part in the Student Technology Leadership Program State Championship, an annual event where students from all over Kentucky gather to showcase their technology skills, creativty, and innovation.

NKU Mobile App Challenge

In addition to my support role, I also competed in the Mobile App Challenge hosted by Northern Kentucky University. In this challenge, I won first place, which helped me realized how much I love applying technology in creative and meaningful ways.

STLP Engineer

As an STLP Engineer, I wasn't just competing, I also served as part of the technical support team. My role was to help troubleshoot issues, assist participants with technical needs, and ensure that equipment and software ran smoothly throughout the event.

It was an incredible learning experience to work behind the scenes at such a large, fast paced event and to support fellow students and leaders in the field as they prepare for their competitions and presentations.

Returning as a Judge

After winning the NKU Mobile App Challenge in 2022, I was invited to join NKU's IoT club as president during the 2022-2023 school year. During my term as president, I returned to the State Championship, this time as a judge for the same challenge.
